South America

After Denali’s summit I headed to Panama again. That’s where I landed by sailboat. There I started my kayaking journey across the Darien Gap. A dangerous crossing, mainly because of drug and human trafficking. On my last day of the journey, I got stopped by an armed group who sent me to the destination city, Turbo. This trip is still on my to do list (40km kayak), but for now I’m focusing on the journey to Aconcagua.

After landing in Colombia I cycled south to Ecuador and Peru. This adventure is ongoing (2024-2025) so read below for the blog stories.
